Susannah & Brandon’s Meadowdale Beach Engagement Session (Seattle Engagement Photography)

Susannah and Brandon are getting hitched this fall on the east coast but contacted me to do an engagement session. They met in the military while stationed here in Washington. We headed out to Meadowdale Beach Park in Edmonds and had a great shoot. It’s amazing the immediate change you can see in the landscape in western Washington as soon as the weather takes a turn for the better. The forest was bright, green and new, and Susannah and Brandon were stellar. They are such a sweet couple, very kind and caring with one another. I wish them all the best in the future. Katy & Josh’s U-District Landing Wedding: Part I (Seattle Wedding Photography)

Sunshine, sunshine, sunshine! Katy and Josh’s wedding day was by far the warmest, sunniest day of the year thus far. After Katy and I spent the whole week fretting about the rainy forecast and trying to find alternate, indoor locations for photos, there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. The day started out with hair and makeup at Hotel Deca, then we spent some time taking portraits on University of Washington‘s beautiful campus. What an amazing place for photos, the architecture and grounds are just so epic and breathtaking. Not to mention the fact that the bride and groom were gorgeous. Katy and Josh are absolutely perfect together. They are so happy around one another and they make everyone else happy as well. They are very caring people and went above and beyond to make sure everyone else was enjoying themselves too. Here are the first half of their photos! Chou Family UW Portrait Session (Seattle Family Photography)

The cherry blossoms are in bloom!! Don’t you just love spring?! I headed out to the UW Quad with the Chou family for Kaden’s one-year-old portrait session, plus some with the rest of the crew. I just love these kids, they have amazing smiles! Enjoy.

Missy & Michael’s Mukilteo Engagement Session (Seattle Engagement Photography)

Missy and Michael live in Texas but were temporarily back in Seattle for spring break doing some wedding planning for their big day this upcoming June in Everett. We had originally planned to do their engagement session on Monday of their vacation, then it moved to Tuesday, then Wednesday and Thursday…. FINALLY Friday morning we got a break from the unreal, unpredictable Seattle spring weather (blizzard/rain/sun/wind/repeat every hour). Anyhow, things worked out great and we finally got to do the shoot. I had a fabulous time with the wonderful couple out at Mukilteo Lighthouse Park, just north of Seattle. Missy and Michael are a lot of fun and definitely know how to keep the mood light. Thanks guys, can’t wait to photograph your celebration in June!!!
